God, Please Meet Us in the Chaos with Your Wisdom, Love, and Peace
Have you ever had a chaotic week that made you feel as if your life is whirling out of control? The car breaks down, an extra work project lands on your desk, and your throat starts tickling with the beginnings of a cold. The truth is that we are not in control. An even better truth is that we serve a loving God who is in control. In those moments, when it feels like my week is descending into chaos, I’m so glad that I serve a God who isn’t surprised by the craziness that pops up in my life. While God may not remove the chaos, we can trust that He will help us to overcome it.
As we pray this week, let’s thank God for His love and grace when life gets chaotic. Let’s also ask Him to meet us in our chaos with His wisdom, love, and peace.
Prayer of the Week: Asking God to Meet Us in Our Chaos with His Wisdom, Love, and Peace
Lord, I thank you that you meet us in the chaos of life. We can find your presence, your wisdom, your love, and your peace in even the most difficult of moments. Lord, please strengthen me so that I’m able to face the chaos that is currently in my life. Father, your word says to cast our cares on you because you will never let us be shaken (Psalm 55:22). I pray that you will help me to stand firm in chaos. Let me feel your presence, your love, and your peace. Guard my steps and orchestrate my days that I might see your grace in each difficult situation. Renew my strength and give me fresh wisdom as you meet me in the chaos.
Lord, I pray that you will also help me to be a blessing to others during this period of chaos. Help me to encourage my family, friends, and coworkers. Show me how to be gracious and loving towards others even when my circumstances are chaotic. Lord, I desire to honor you and be a light to others even when my life isn’t perfect.
Father God, I thank you that you will not just meet me in my chaos but use me to testify to your great love and grace. I thank you for everything you’re going to do in my life this coming week. In Jesus name I pray, amen!
